Open a pre-roll category and you’ll find cones, blunts, mini blunts, infused rolls and hash holes sitting next to each other at wildly different prices. The labels sound interchangeable. They aren’t.
Two things separate them: what the flower is wrapped in, and what’s inside besides flower. Everything else follows from those.
The wrap decides the burn
Rolling paper runs around 12 grams per square meter. A blunt wrap runs closer to 60. That five-fold difference in material is why the same amount of flower behaves so differently depending on what it’s rolled in.
Thin paper burns hot and fast and stays out of the way of the flower’s flavor. A thicker wrap burns slower and cooler, and contributes flavor of its own.
Pre-rolls and cones
A pre-roll is flower in thin rolling paper — rice, hemp fiber or wood pulp. A cone is the same thing in a tapered shape, which gives a more even burn than a straight cylinder.
Standard sizes run from about 0.5 to 1.5 grams, and burn time lands in the 5 to 15 minute range depending on size and how tightly it’s packed. The paper adds essentially no flavor, so what you taste is the flower.
This is the baseline format. Everything else is a variation on it.
Blunts and mini blunts
A blunt is flower in a thicker leaf wrap rather than paper. The traditional version uses a tobacco leaf — which means a tobacco-wrapped blunt contains nicotine, whether or not the label mentions it.
Everything we carry uses hemp wraps. Same thickness, same slow burn, no tobacco and no nicotine anywhere in our catalog. If you’re buying blunts elsewhere, the wrap material is the single most important thing to check, and a brand worth buying from will say which it uses.
The format burns longer than paper: 20 to 40 minutes against 5 to 15. Blunts also tend to self-extinguish when you stop pulling, which makes them easier to put down and come back to.
Mini blunts are the same construction at a smaller size — typically sold in 5-packs. You get the slower-burning wrap without committing to a 30-minute session, which is why they’ve become the most practical version of the format.
Infused pre-rolls
Flower with concentrate added, either mixed into the grind before rolling or coated on the outside, sometimes finished with a dusting of kief.
The burn follows the paper timeline, but the roll is denser because of the added material. The infusion runs through the whole thing rather than being isolated anywhere.
Hash holes
The one with a core. A solid line of concentrate — hash, live rosin or diamonds — runs lengthwise down the center of the flower.
Because concentrate resists combustion, the flower shell recedes faster than the core and leaves a donut-shaped hole in the ash. That’s where the name comes from, and it’s also why hash holes are less forgiving: torch one side and the core liquefies ahead of the cherry and runs out.

Most concentrate for the money: a hash hole. The core is the expensive part, and it’s isolated where you can taste it.
Trying several strains: a multi-pack, or the Wazabi Double Drop, which puts a different strain in each of its two rolls.
